There are no prerequisites for attending the Conference, but the Conference is not intended to teach the basics of accounting software. The Conference is packed full of consulting topics such as evaluating, installing, troubleshooting, and supporting accounting software and add-ons. The Conference focuses on financial accounting software and the products that integrate with these types of packages, but also includes many other useful topics in this market.

No. We use the "big screen" presentation method. The Conference materials that you will receive include detailed information coordinated with the presentations on the big screen. Can I receive CPE credits for attending the Conference?
The Sleeter Group is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).You may receive up to 8 CPE credits per day of attendance. The Sleeter Group is also registered with the IRS for Enrolled Agents.

I want to bring other people from my firm. Do we receive a discount?
If you are attending the Conference and would like to bring at least two others from your firm, you will qualify for a group discount. A group is three or more people from the same firm.
I am not able to attend the Conference at this time. Are the Conference materials available for sale?
Conference presentation materials are only available for Conference attendees. The 2010 Conference will NOT be video taped.
I want to register now, but if I cancel, can someone else go in my place?
Substitutions are allowed and can be made online or by phoning our office.

What materials will I receive at the Conference?
Prior to the Conference, you will receive a Web link to detailed session descriptions and PDFs of the handouts which you can browse to help you make a decision about which session to attend. Onsite, we will provide printed hand outs.

Do you have a money-back guarantee?
Our Conference is 100% money-back guaranteed. If you decide that this Conference is not right for you, notify a Sleeter Group on-site representative on the first day of the Conference and return your materials. We will issue a full refund within 14 business days.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be issued if written cancellation is received by August 8, 2010.
Refunds less a $75 cancellation fee, per person, will be issued on written requests received by October 8, 2010. No refunds or credits will be given after October 9, 2009. Substitutions are allowed and can be made online or on-site.
Is there a discount rate at the Conference hotel? What about travel discounts?
The Sleeter Group has arranged a discount hotel rate of $109.00 per night at Paris Las Vegas. We will send you information to reserve your room when you register for the Conference. You must book your room by October 17 to receive the discounted rate. Room availability is limited so book your room as soon as possible. A limited number of premier “Red Rooms” are also available for an additional $30 per night. Each Sleeter Group guest will also receive a one-time “Folio Credit” of $15 upon check out.

When should I book my flights?
The Conference begins on Monday, November 8, we recommend an arrival of Sunday, November 7. Beat the Monday morning rush and pick up your name badge and Conference tote Sunday evening. Check in at our registration desk at the Paris Las Vegas hotel Conference Center between 5:00 and 8:00 pm, or on Monday, November 8, 7:00 am – 8:00 am.
The Conference educational program ends Wednesday, November 10 at 4:55 p.m. If you plan to leave on Wednesday, we suggest booking a flight out no earlier than 7:30 p.m. If you plan to attend the November 11th Hoover Dam Adventure, you should book your flight no earlier than 7:30 pm on Thursday.
What type of food will be served at the Conference?
We will do our best to offer a wide variety of food and beverage selections at Conference meals. We will post Conference menus on our website in early October and notify attendees when they are available. Please email info@sleeter.com by October 25, if you have any special dietary needs. Attendees are “on their own” for lunch on Monday, November 8. Enjoy one of the 20 restaurants in Paris Las Vegas.
What should I wear? What should I bring with me?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all Conference activities. Since meeting room temperatures vary, we recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. Certain events during the Conference have "themes" where it may be fun to dress up to go with the theme. Watch your e-mail after you register for information on such events.

Be sure to bring a lot of business cards for prize drawings and networking with your fellow attendees.
May I bring a guest to the Conference Reception?

What is the Sleeter Group Consultants Network banquet? Can I bring a guest?
If you are a member of The Sleeter Group Consultants Network, you are invited to register to attend this member's only banquet on Wednesday night, November 10.Tickets are $69 each. You may also purchase a guest ticket for the banquet for $79. This year the theme is a Parisian Masked Ball. Dress is semi-formal. Either bring your own mask or we will provide one for you.
When is the Exhibit Hall going to be open?
