Networking & Special Events
The Sleeter Conference isn’t just about formal learning in sessions. We also have great opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking. Whether you’re attending for the first time or are a regular attendee, we recommend that you make the most of all the opportunities and time outside of sessions. Catch up with old friends or make new acquaintances!
In addition to lunches, coffee breaks and relaxing in the bar, we’ve also organized a number of social events for you throughout the Conference, including:
Welcome Registration Mixer
Sunday Evening (5:00 PM - 8:30 PM)
Come by the Conference center at the Anaheim Marriott, pick up your name badge, and mingle with other Conference attendees and exhibitors while you enjoy light appetizers and a no-host bar. This was a rockin' party in 2011 and we expect no less in 2012!
Conference Reception and Solutions Expo Hall Grand Opening
Monday Evening (5:30 PM - 8:15 PM)
The Conference reception is a must-attend. Enjoy a social atmosphere while visiting exhibits, meeting other attendees, and enjoying good food and drinks. Visit select exhibitors and enter to win raffle prizes.
CPE Walking Tours

The Conference CPE Walking Tours provide an opportunity to attend live presentations on the Solutions Expo floor. Leading accounting technology Exhibitors will educate attendees on their programs. Walking Tour groups will assemble in advance and hear a brief overview of the Exhibitors to be visited during the tour. Following the overview, five Exhibitors in the Solutions Expo Hall will be visited; each Exhibitor will provide a demonstration at their booth.
The CPE Walking Tours will take place each day and each tour will include unique Exhibitors.
1 CPE credit will be awarded for each CPE Walking Tour.

Cardio Boot Camp
Tuesday Morning (6:15 AM - 7:00 AM)
Start your day off right with a 45- minute cardio boot camp. This class is a great way to get your blood flowing and calories burning before a full day of learning. We will run, hop, jump, lunge, squat, plank, and more, and have lots of fun doing it! All levels of participants invited. You can work at your own pace and modifications will be given.
Sleeter Consultants' Banquet & Maggie Awards

Shiver me timbers! It's a pirate party we're havin'!
Join your fellow mates for the Sleeter Consultants' Annual Banquet & Magnificent Member Awards.
Dress as your favorite pirate! No time to prepare a costume? No worries - we'll provide a few pirate-themed items. Don't feel like wearing a costume? Don't fret - there will be lots of other folks there in casual attire. There will be a contest for Best Costume and you just might win a one year membership renewal. Advanced ticket purchase is required. Check out the Grub and Grog menu.
Namaste Yoga
Wednesday Morning (6:15 AM - 7:00 AM)
Join in on an early morning yoga session to clear your mind before diving back into a full day of accounting technology education!
Conference Grand Prize Drawing
Wednesday Afternoon
The Grand Prize winner's name will be drawn and announced Wednesday afternoon during the last keynote session. Complete the Grand Prize Passport by visiting participating Exhibitors and have your passport stamped. One lucky attendee will win a 2013 full Conference pass and three night hotel stay! Attendance at the drawing is not required in order to win.
Excursion to Santa Catalina Island (Optional Activity)
Thursday - All Day
